AMAR # 1056 Children's Day at Bableshwar!

On 24th November Children’s day was celebrated at Maria Bhavan, Bableshwar. The Planning was done in collaboration with the youth and the women.

The programme began at 9.30 am. The children came from different villages and also special invitation was given to the differently able children (deaf, dumb and blind) from the Institute of   Vikhe Patil Babeshwar.   Around 300 children took part. 

The programme began with a prayer dance followed by a welcome dance.   The Director of the Institute of Maria Bhavan, Sr.Alka Almeida welcomed the gathering. Senior citizens were also invited. The Parish Priest Fr. Abraham and the Senior citizens for felicitated with a shawl, a coconut and a flower. The Parish Priest gave the message on how to become good children in the family as well as in the Society.

The senior citizen, Mr.  Bodak spoke on how-to cultivate good values. Sr. Anita Gracias thanked all the donors for their generosity toward the children.

Through the short Skit, the children themselves gave the message to the audience on how to make good use of mobile, not to be addicted, and what will be the consequence.  After the break, the resource person, Mr. Vikas Bansode, spoke to them how to respect the parents and Sr. Nilima Rodrigues FMA through a video clipping gave them the message on how to keep our environment clean. She told them to make others happy by sharing and helping.
