We the Sisters of Auxilium Centre, Bandra had a week-long preparation for the community Gratitude day with the theme: “Become stars for one another”. The preparation was from 9th to 14 of December. We began our grand celebration with the vigil service on 14th December, where we thanked and appreciated each other for the unique role played as a community. The prayer service was meaningfully well prepared by Sr. Veronica Fernandes, where she meaningfully dwelt on the theme of the community gratitude day.
On 15th we got up with joy and gratitude to God and to each other and began our day with a meaningful Morning Prayer prepared by Sr. Breenel Sambrea, she beautifully brought out the message of thanks to each other. At 11. 30 we had a solemn Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Johnny Panantham SSP, the Rector of St. Paul Fathers. He made us aware of the importance of the star and encouraged us to be the stars to each other. He gave us some tips to bring out the best qualities of stars in others and to make them the stars in the world. And that is what we the FMA are called to be a star for the young and make them the future star. May God bless Fr. Johnny who meaningfully broke the word of God for us and nourished us with the body and blood of Jesus.
In the evening at 6.45 we continued praising God with praise and worship before our Eucharistic Lord animated by Sr. Sanjina Moteghar. And ended our day with a short entertainment for the community. We thank God for our community, for everything that we received from God as a community. May God continue to be the centre of our community and help us live a life of holiness.
