In preparation for the Provincial Gratitude Day, on the 29th of December, we the community of MYC Wadala invited youngsters from the Parish of St. Anthony’s Dharavi and from St. Dominic Savio, Antop Hill, Wadala East.
Nearly 28 young people were present in the AMAR auditorium, Wadala at 4.00 pm. Since the teenagers were from different places, an ice-breaker session was conducted so that they could know each other which would help them in the discussions.
Sr. Caroline Menezes, the animator of MYC, Wadala, explained to them about the Christus Vivit, the post-synodal apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis. After presenting to them the apostolic exhortation in a video form, Sr. divided them into 4 groups and asked them a few questions.
Towards the end, Sr. Caroline blessed them, as most of them would be answering Std. XII exams this March. The day came to a close at 7.00 pm and refreshments were served to all.
