‘Enkindle Stars in the lives of the young’. The animators, PAC members along with the other Sisters gathered on 10th January, at St. Francis Xavier Convent, Benaulim, Goa for the celebration.
In the evening the celebration commenced with a vigil service where the FMA of MM Mumbai extended their thanks to God for the gift of Sr. Rita Dora Thomas, the Provincial, the Provincial Council, the animators and to the Sisters along with the Novices, Postulants, and Aspirants.
After a festive supper, all were ready for the creative games which were organised by the communities of Goa. The young and the old gave their best to helped their group to win the first place.
On the 11th of January, all rose to a new day, once again to praise God for his love and goodness through the Morning Prayer. Later the Sisters gathered in the school basement for the solemn Eucharist which was well animated.
It was a feast to the eyes to see the students of Auxilium Benaulim and the NIOS students of Caranzalem entertaining the Sisters with their music, dance, and mime. The ADMA members and the Cooperators too thanked the Provincial for her presence.
Later a sumptuous meal was served and most of the Sisters enjoyed themselves at the beach of Sinquerim.
Ths day came to a close with sentiments of joy and thanksgiving for all the blessings the Almighty has showered on the Province of MM Mumbai.
