On 22nd January 2020, we the Salesian Sisters of Savedi had a wonderful and memorable day for the Salesian Cooperators as they had their renewals. It was indeed great day, on the feast of Blessed Laura Vicuna, and 1st day of the Novena to St. John Bosco, 17 young, energetic, lively and hardworking Cooperators made their promise once again to God Almighty, to Don Bosco, and to the Church to be faithful servants, working for the poor and abandoned youngsters. The liturgy was animated by them. Fr. James Tuscano SDB along with his collaborators made the day very meaningful and enriching.
After the renewals, each of the Cooperators received a gift. They sponsored the snacks for the parishioners. After the liturgical function, they were invited to the convent for the celebration. Our Community College students put up the skit and cultural programme on the life Bl. Laura Vicuna and this was followed by a delicious supper served by the community.
