Pushpanjali, Dakor had an Inter-Faith Celebration with the young people belonging to the different sectors of the Centre. As peacebuilders, we recognize the importance of respecting and valuing each religion and living in harmony in the diverse cultural and religious ambient of our Society.
Through creative means, the different groups of Pushpanjali, Dakor along with their teachers exhibited lovely presentations on Inter-Faith, Building Harmony, Tolerance, Respect for Diversity and many other topics. These enhanced the Assemblies for the entire week and helped to highlight the importance of each Religion to depict their richness. The beautiful backdrop, colourful placards, symbols, singing and dance created safe spaces for the young to learn more about the significance of other Religions, find commonalities and appreciate their differences. Inter-Faith Dialogue indeed helps us to grow and develop mutually.
In the end, we had a common celebration for the entire Pushpanjali Family. Sr. Hilda Braganza, the animator joyously welcomed each one for this very special gathering. The various groups were involved in this celebration as they brought out their talents using their own creativity and the best of their ability making the Interfaith celebration indeed very significant.
It was indeed a great pleasure listening to others about the significance and the sacredness of each religion. Everyone appreciated this unity in diversity. We also had a quiz on Inter-Faith for our young people which they actively participated in. It was a very good initiative in order to strengthen the students in their faith and increase their knowledge of other religions.
Truly Inter-Faith dialogue provides space for the people of different faiths to contribute and strengthen bonds in the society and the nation at large. Ideas, beliefs, and values of each Religion were shared by the young people. It is very important that all religions get involved with each other so that the future of our nation will brighter. The Inter-Faith Celebration at Pushpanjali, Dakor was very memorable for all of us and for our young.
