The Republic Day of our country was celebrated on 26th January 2020 with great pomp and splendour at Pali Hill, Bandra. The celebrations started with the arrival of the chief guest Mr. Gaurav Mehta and the hoisting of the National flag at 8 am. The Chief Guest was welcomed with a sapling and small gift as a token of appreciation.
The programme included an inter-religious prayer moment, marchpast, patriotic song, folk dances and Nukad Natak (street play in Hindi). Miss Khadija of Std X spoke in Hindi and Miss Zoubiya Khan in English. The Chief Guest Mr. Gaurav Mehta gave an inspiring speech to all gathered. The colourful programme came to an end with the vote of thanks.
