On 19th January 2020, we the Pushpanjali Community had the Annual Day celebration with our boarding children. It was a very special day for everyone. Many parents of our children came and joined in the celebration. The children were filled with joy in seeing their parents. We began the celebration with a short prayer moment and lighting of the lamp animated by Sr. Suvarna and the children. Later Sr. Hilda, the animator of the community welcomed the parents and all the well wishes. Thereafter we began the cultural programme. It was a fantastic performance. The parents were joyful to see their children performing on the stage. Sr. Urvashi read the annual report of the boarding and Sr. Hilda distributed the prizes for the winning groups. Then there were also individual prizes given to the deserving children. 2 children were selected as outstanding children in the boarding – Primary Rokcy Parmar and from the Secondary class – Ankita Gupta. All were bubbling with joy to receive the prizes. There was an interesting game for the parents too.
In the end, there was a vote of thanks wherein Sr. Urvashi thanked everyone and the parents and the children were served snacks. The parents appreciated the Sisters for all that they do for their children and left for their homes with deep gratitude and joy.
