AMAR # 1139 Gratitude Day at Dakor!

Gratitude is the attitude of the heart that is born only in a humble and noble heart.

We, the Pushpanjali Community Dakor celebrated our Community Gratitude Day on 25th January. The theme of the Community Gratitude Day was “Pushpanjali Family Generates life”. The celebration began with the Vigil Service which was prepared by Sr. Maxina and then the gifts were displayed which were brought by the different sectors of the community. The atmosphere of the community was filled with joy and gratitude as we enjoyed the company of each other.

On Gratitude Day, the day began with a prayer moment animated by Sr. Suvarna. The different sectors thanked Sr. Hilda, the animator of the community and the community Sisters for their support, love, and concern. As a community, the Sisters too expressed their gratitude towards the animator and to the other Sisters of the community.  There was an entertainment programme where the students, boarders expressed their gratitude through their dances & songs and especially the Garba which is very typical of Gujarat tradition. The ITI, Boarding, the village tuition children, the workers, and the social ministry staff wished and entertained the Sisters with their splendid performances.

Sr. Hilda gave an inspiring message on this occasion. At the end of the day, there was a surprising item which was presented by the community sisters- an East-Indian dance and a Thank you Song which spoke of a grateful attitude.
