In today’s world, corruption, violence, and unrest have become so prevalent in our society that schools have taken up the responsibility to ensure that ‘Value Education’ is a subject to be taken seriously as part of the curriculum in order to produce not just educated students but responsible and honest citizens.
We celebrated ‘Value Education Day’ on 12th February 2020. Different classes presented dances and short skits based on values. The life of Blessed Laura Vicuna the teenage model was depicted. Mr. Shekh Irshad Abdulstar, the principal of Kavivar Rabindranath Tagore Primary School Vadodara was the Chief Guest of this celebration. In his speech, he stressed the importance of values in our lives and encouraged the students to be respectful to all despite their differences of caste, creed or status.
