On 15th February 2020, we the Sisters of Auxilium Convent, Pali Hill celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Sr. Shiny Alphonse. The theme of the day was “The faithful love of the Lord never ends!”
We began the celebration with a prayer dance followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Fr. Johnson SSP was the main celebrant with seven concelebrants. After the Holy Eucharist, Sr. Shiny was felicitated by our Provincial Sr. Ritha Dora Thomas and our animator, Sr. Leema Rose Joseph. Sr. Supriya Noronha raised the toast.
The students of Auxilium Pali Hill enacted a short skit that enabled one to glimpse into the early life of Sr. Shiny followed by dances performed by the tiny tots of our school. Melodious jubilee songs were sung by the community Sisters and the teachers. To entertain everyone games were conducted. Finally Sr. Shiny Alphonse thanked one and all for gracing the vocation followed by a sumptuous meal.
