The Pushpanjali Community, Dakor was overjoyed as we had the inaugural of our new Community on 1st July 2020. We thank God for blessing each one of us and placing us at the Pushpanjali, Dakor for this academic year 2020-21. Seven Sisters set apart for this beautiful mission of the Lord, Sr. Hilda Braganza – animator, Sr. Elphina Rodrigues – vicar, Sr. Priya Tauro -economer Sr. Urvashi Makwan – ITI principal, Sr. Sunita Shah –in-charge of the boarding, Sr. Maxina Luji – the first assistant of the boarding and Sr. Prezy Parmar – the second assistant.
We began the celebration with a very meaningful prayer moment. In a prayerful gesture we carried along with us lighted oil lamps imploring God’s blessings on each one of us and on our mission as we commence this new year of living, loving and working together.
With the refrain of the song, ‘Footsteps walking with me’, the Sisters were invited to go forward to the altar and read out aloud our responsibilities and the dream we have for our Community and our Mission for 2020-2021. We supported our Sisters with our prayer as this was being done. Committing ourselves to follow the gentle of voice of Mother Mary, “Do whatever He tells us” and with the desire to do everything for the glory of Lord we move forward to be messengers of hope to our people here. We rendered our gratitude to the Lord for this precious moment as we picked a card “I AM A MISSION” and proceeded for the festive fraternal meal and togetherness.
