“Set us ablaze with your love” was the theme highlighted for the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus 2020 by the community of SHTC, Nashik.
During the days of the novena, the Sisters and the Novices took the initiative to practice the qualities of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in order to better prepare ourselves to celebrate our house feast.
At the vigil service and at morning-prayer, we thanked Jesus for bringing us together as a community and asked Him for the grace to continue to live in His love and in unity. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated in a festive manner. In keeping with tradition, a short program was held which included dance, song and a small play on the life of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque which enabled us to know the history behind the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was a joyful day and a suitable occasion to bless the Almighty for His unconditional Love for us manifested through the Heart of Jesus His Son.
