On 15th August 2020 we the Management and the staff of Auxilium Convent hoisted the flag in the school premises. Rev. Sr. Teresa Vettickal, the manager of the school hoisted the flag and National Anthem was intoned by the members present on the occasion. This followed the virtual celebration of Independence Day with the entire staff and students for the next one hour. We began our celebration by showing them a video clip of the flag hoisting we had in in the school, on the same day.
A meaningful prayer service was conducted by the teachers which was followed by patriotic speeches, songs, dances and skits depicted the message of ‘unity in diversity.’ Sr.Teresa Vettical delivered a message by encouraging them to practice two special virtues – Respect and Responsibility, even if we face the challenges of Lockdown during this Pandemic. The celebration ended by wishing each other “Happy independence Day and Stay safe, stay home.”
