Republic Day is a day of national rejoicing and a red lettered day in our country. This year the Republic Day celebration was a memorable moment, as we at Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala celebrated Republic Day virtually with the same zeal and spirit.
The flag hoisting ceremony was held at 7:45 am in the school. The management, Sisters, teachers and support staff were present for the flag hoisting. The chief guest for the flag hoisting ceremony was Dr. Sunita Bhagat.
At 8:30 am an online YouTube link was shared and shown to all the students. The students of each and every class participated in this online celebration by putting up their various activities such as patriotic songs, dances and speeches.
The students also showcased their Republic Day drawings and craft articles. A video on India’s 1st Republic day was also presented to the students to imbibe the importance and values of this auspicious day. Thus the virtual Republic Celebration was carefully planned and executed, thus upholding the spirit of patriotism.
