On 10th February 2021, the Community of Maria Sharan, Keshnand celebrated Thanksgiving Day. We had a preparation for 9 days preparation where we prayed for the various sectors and for the intentions of our community. The theme was “Jesus is the Connecting Bridge between us”. We had a solemn Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Roxy Fernandes MSF. The liturgy of the day was highlighted with melodious singing and rendering our thanks to one another in the community.
The workers of our house thanked the animator of the house and the Sisters. They expressed their gratitude by presenting gifts to the community. They were grateful for the love, concern, and kindness that they receive from the Sisters. The children of our centre put up a programme to express their gratitude. They were joyful and filled with happiness with their various performances on the stage. As a mark of their thanksgiving, they presented hand-made cards to each Sister. We, Sisters, are glad to have some of our children with us, and the workers, who help us, and they do show their love and concern towards us.
In the end the Sr. Justina Rodrigues, the animator thanked each member of the various sector and offered to them some sweets and delicious snacks. The day was ended with smiling faces and with a thanksgiving note in our hearts.
