AMAR # 1333 Gratitude day at Auxilium Pali Hill, Bandra

We the sisters from Auxilium Convent Pali Hill, Bandra celebrated Community gratitude day with much joy and weeklong spiritual and material preparation.  The theme “Called to Build Bridges of love and Hope” was well displayed in the chapel. On the 6th evening the Vigil service brought us together to render thanks with creative vigil service depicting the pillars of Love, Faith, and Hope, peace, joy, Care, and forgiveness of the bridge.

And on the 7th morning, the prayer moment made us aware of the major bridges in India. And each bridge represented the qualities and virtues of sisters in the community and all of us praised and thanked the Lord for the contribution and presence of one another. Eucharistic celebration with creative symbols of building bridges gave us a sense of union, joy, and gratitude. Rev. Fr. Shekar SDB celebrated the Eucharist meaningfully. Festive meals, gifts, and evening short outing to Mount Mary’s and Bandstand seashore were very refreshing and rejuvenating. The day concluded with a note of joy and togetherness with refreshments.
