It is with great joy and enthusiasm that we the community of Sacred Heart of Training Centre here in Nashik witnessed the two great events: The Solemnity of Mary Help of Christian and the First Religious Profession of our four novices together with the six Salesian novices on 24th May 2021 in Don Bosco Parish Nashik.
The day began with well animated Morning Prayer during which we praised and thanked God for the gift of Mary to the church and the humanity as help and guide.
The Solemn Eucharistic banquet was presided over by Fr. Ashley Miranda SDB, vice provincial of Bombay province along with 15 con-celebrants. Our four FMA novices Sr Sony Kokya, Sr Munmun Marak, Sr Placiya Rodrigues, Sr Smita Tairipascu pronounced their first and a generous ‘Yes’ to the Lord in the hands of Rev. Sr. Rita Dora Thomas FMA, Provincial Mumbai province and put forth before the Lord to live faithfully to their commitment as FMA.
The theme for the profession was “Where you lead me, I will follow”. Fr. Ashley Miranda through his well prepared sermon exhorted the newly professed to remain faithful to the Lord as He also is committing himself to remain faithful to you and to love you.
The happiness of all had no bounds as we welcomed four FMA to our Institute of Daughters of Mary Help of Christians and to our province in particular.
