AMAR #1362 New Academic year begins at Auxilium Baroda

“Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

The scholastic year 2021 – 2022 started amidst the second wave of the corona pandemic on the 7th June 2021.

A small prayer service was organised to bring in the new academic session invoking the almighty’s blessings. Sr. Supriya Noronha, Sr. Smitha Gonsalves and Sr. Mummun Marak as well as Tr. Dhwanita Nikhade and Tr. Nidhi were given a floral welcome to the Auxilium family Baroda.

Sr. Priscilla Travasso, Superior and Manager of the school gave a talk on “In giving I receive” based on Dr. Abdul Kalam’s life experiences, his enthusiasm and the people he met. He was specially inspired by a Swami who in spite of being 100 years retained his energy and zeal. The Swami’s various works and contribution in the upliftment of the poor and the needy, his mammoth task and efforts to eradicate illiteracy really moved Dr. Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam wrote “What can I give my fellow citizens for in giving I receive blessings in body and soul.” I have everything to share so as to remove the sad feelings from sufferings. For all these the almighty will always bless our actions.

Jesus was a teacher who was with His disciples and understood them and their limitations, may Jesus help us to be like Him a teacher who understands the students and reach out to them ways we can.
