“Hope for the Earth and Hope for the Poor” with this theme in mind, the students of Pushpanjali Technical Institute – Dakor celebrated the feast of our Mother and co-Foundress St. Mary Mazzarello.
The programme began with a beautiful prayer moment which was animated by Sr. Pushpa Parmar. Through a power point presentation Sr. spoke of the love for nature and for the poor as St. Mary Mazzarello had during her time. The Youth Pastoral Project was also transmitted to the youngsters.
After prayer the new Sisters of Pushpanjali were warmly welcomed. Through videos and songs Sr.Urvashi Macwana explained the theme as to how we need to take care of the earth and the poor. She also drew up the action plan for 2021-22. All the students were very enthusiastic and active and said that they will care for the earth and poor.
Sr. Gracy Thomas, the animator delivered a beautiful message that we are one family and we all will try to build unity and community communion in Pushpanjali. With this the programme was concluded. As a significant mark of the day, the past pupils planted a sapling in the garden.
