Walking with Jesus is the catchword of our dear Sr. Shantha Anthony Philomena the golden jubilarian of our community. Walking with Jesus, we become like HIM, we act like HIM, and we imitate Him in our day today life.
We at Auxilium Wadala meaningfully celebrated the golden religious profession of our dear Sr. Shantha. The day began with a morning prayer animated by Sr. Rosaline Pereira who kept in mind the foundation day of our congregation as each sister entrusted herself to Mary, the true Superior of our congregation. During the Eucharistic celebration we thanked God for the 60 years of religious life of our dear Sr. Phyllis Fernandes and 50 years of religious life of our dear Sr. Shantha. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr. James Nigrel SDB, the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Dolours, Wadala and was concelebrated by Fr. Ashwin Mal SDB.
A short video was presented on the fruitful life of our jubilarians. This was followed by a programme which was filled with entertainment. The performance was done by the Sisters and the support staff. Sr. Manisha Parmar and Sr. Khushboo Vasava were the MCs of the day. Sr. Joanna Lobo raised the toast with an attractive way of counting the treasures from the box of silver and gold .The treasures were the mission lived by our sisters in various communities.
We thank God for his fidelity to each one of us and today especially our Srs. Phyllis and Shanta as we recall their first profession with lot of excitement. We concluded the jubilation with the delicious meal prepared by the Sisters of both the communities.
