AMAR # 1434 Celebrating 75th Independence Day at Auxilium Wadala

     Auxilium Convent High School  Wadala celebrated 75th Independence Day with great pomp and enthusiasm on virtual platform by creating the You tube link due to Meaningful  prayer moment was done by the primary students of std 1 to 4 showcasing the gratitude towards freedom fighters, covid warriors, leaders of nation and Assumption of our Mother Mary in to heaven.

Honouring the National Flag, recitation of Pledge and then singing National Anthem was presented by Std 9, Std 7 students kept the flame of parotitis burning by singing a patriotic song “ Aye Watan watan mere”. Our Tiny tots – Pre-primary students presented the meaning of Tricolour and expressed their gratitude to freedom fighters who sacrifice their lives in form of FANCY DRESS depicting as Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, SubhashChandra Bose, Bhagat Singh.Patriotism was expressed in the form of an energetic Dance “Mashup Of Independence Day” by Primary Students.Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan cooperated with Our YPP theme “Hope for Earth” to enhance green cover and diversity, taking steps for conservation of water, energy and implementing awareness to show their commitment towards protecting the environment. This was presented through the video with the song “ Sunder Majhi Vasundhara”

    Freedom is in our mind and faith in our hearts. Pride is in our soul and love for nation in our blood. Std 8 articulated the sentiments of patriotism and honour by delivering Speech In English, Hindi and Marathi.  Kargil is not a story of just winning. It’s a story of Pain with Pride. The Indian Army did not give up a single inch of ground and battled to their last breath. The Brave Hearts were remembered by displaying a video based on “ Kargil Vijay Divas”.

75 years forward of our Independence Day was celebrated by Brihan Mumbai Inter School Republic Day Group to sensitise and inspire young citizens to build our Nation after the ideals of Gandhiji. 22 schools from across Mumbai participated in this unique one to one interaction with the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and BMC representative.

Our student Savari Ghadigoankar, got the opportunity to ask a question to the Army Colonel about the problem faced by women in joining the Army.The Army colonel replied in an optimistic way and the importance of women in every field.The Navy Admiral motivated students to Focus on Values that build Nation. The great message given by him “If everyone does their duty properly, then the nation builds automatically.

     Sr. Magadeline Sequeira expressed her gratitude towards the people who worked in cooperation to make a Democratic India giving us the sacred book of Democracy, Preamble as a heart of Constitution and also a motivational message about the meticulous work done by Mr. Shubendu Sharma who left his highly paid job as engineer to plant trees for rest of his life, where in he created 48 forests in 4years. Courageous girl named Megha who voiced out against Molestation. Sidhutai Sakpal, who became a mother of more than thousand children. She addressed the teachers, parents and students to be An Active citizen and involve themselves is the best way to support our country.
