On 14th August, the eve of the feast of the Assumption of Mary, we at Laura Vicuna Niwas, Ahmednagar began our Marian month. With joy in our hearts and filial love towards Mary, we commenced the celebration with a Marian dance. The nursing students graceful danced and this was followed by a meaningful prayer moment. Each one received a message from our Blessed Mother and Sr. Rita lobo, our superior gave us the Marian message. She then declared the Marian month open.
On 15th August, we celebrated 2 great events – 75th Independence Day and the Feast of the Assumption of our Lady. On this festive occasion, we were privileged to have your Lordship, Rev. Bishop Lourdes Daniel. It was a moment of immense joy and grace for all of us . The hostel girls put up a short programme to welcome the Bishop. In his message to them, he motivated them to pursue their dreams and reach the sky, for nothing is impossible to those who have dreams of reaching a set goal in life. His visit indeed brought us abundant blessings.
