On the 19th September at 10.30 am we at Auxilium Caranzalem had a Yes encounter with our 13 girls from the St. Micheal’s Parish, Taleigao. The day from std 8th and above. We began our programme at 10.30 am with a prayer moment in the community chapel. After the prayer moment Sr. Joanita Antao, the animator of the community addressed the youngsters. Later we proceeded to the school hall for the programme. The programme consisted of a variety of games; an interactive session by Sr. Precilla D’Souza.
Sr. Precilla also had a discussion on the importance of priests and nuns in the church and asked the girls to pray to the Lord of the Harvest to inspirer many young girls and boys to hearken to his call. We ended our programme at 12.15 pm and we distributed snacks and prizes cum token of love to each of them.
On the same day in the evening Sr. Precilla D’Souza conducted Google meet to the girls of South and North Goa .They too had the same session on the good qualities of a leader .They were 13 in number. After the session we prayed a decade of the Rosary for the perseverance in vocation to all the priests and religious and increase of vocation to our province and to the church. We ended our meeting at 6.15 pm thanking God.
