Mary is most loved by all the Salesian institutions all over the world as this was a devotion instilled in us by Don Bosco himself. We too venerated Mary at Auxilium, Caranzalem in various ways throughout this past month and today, the 20th of September we concluded our Marian month with great love for our Blessed Mother.
The past pupils decorated the statue and animated the Morning Assembly. The Sisters of the community of Caranzalem conducted a Marian hour for the entire staff of Auxilium School. The atmosphere was colourful and musical as the staff members were asked to form five groups according to different hymns of Our Blessed Mother. After this they had to name their groups and were given colourful bands to wear on their hands in the groups. Then each group stood in turns singing the respective hymn of their groups. It was really wonderful to see the fervour with which each one displayed their affection for our Blessed Mother. Then the Manager, Sr. Joanita Antao gave us a meaningful message on Mary to set the tone of the day. After this various Marian games were conducted and the staff members participated with much enthusiasm and joy as each one tried their best to make their groups win. We concluded with the prize distribution, vote of thanks by Sr. Celine Pinto and a hymn to honour our Blessed Mother. Everyone was happy and filled with increased affection for Mary.
