On 2nd October we celebrated two feasts. One is Gandhi Jayanti and The feast of Guardian Angel. To mark this occasion we had cleanliness drive around our house, we organized the easy and drawing competitions based on Mahatma Gandhiji. The girls eagerly took part in the competitions, writing and drawings important aspects of the life of this great man, the best entries were awarded interesting prizes.
In the evening the feast of Guardian Angel was celebrated. The Guardian angels are our heavenly companions. God guides and governs the world by assigning Guardian Angels to watch each person. We also remember the words of Don Bosco. “Be ever more convinced that your Guardian Angel is really present, that he is ever at you side.” In appreciation for all that the Sisters do for them, the boarders of Maria Sharan celebrated this feast. The boarders put up a short cultural programme in their honour. This included dances and speech. May we always remain grateful to the Lord for our Angels, both visible and invisible.
