Auxilium, Ahmednagar celebrated the feast day of the Immaculate Conception today in quite a remarkable manner. At 12 noon, all the different sectors of our mission, namely, the nursing students, the migrant children as well as the school children together with all the teachers, helpers, and sisters gathered together in the school quadrangle to pray one Hail Mary in keeping with the Salesian tradition.
To mark this day, a short skit depicting the beginning of the oratory with Bartholomew Garelli by Don Bosco on 8 December 1841 was enacted by the hostelites. It was indeed a heart-warming moment to celebrate the birth of Don Bosco’s apostolate with the youngsters of the 21st century.
