On the 10th of January, 2022, The Lonavla Municipal Council organized a short award ceremony under the Swachh Survekshan 2022 at LMC, Lonavla, under the able leadership of Mrs Surekha Jadhav, the President, recognizing the efforts made by different categories of individuals and groups towards forming a clean and green city of Lonavla.
The Lonavla Municipal Council under Swachh Survekshan 2022, awarded the 1st Place for Cleanest School Award to Auxilium Convent High School, Lonavla for the Swachh School Ranking. Our Teachers, Mrs. Unita Patrao and Mrs. Asma Nimbargi were also awarded for their outstanding work of Swachhata and bringing Swachh Change in Lonavla. They have been identified and recognized as “Swachhata Champions” by the Lonavla Municipal Council in the year 2021-22.
In awarding the prizes, Mrs. Surekha Jadhav encouraged everyone present to carry on the good work begun and thus strive to make Lonavla the cleanest city in the upcoming year, in the whole of India. All the participants of the meeting expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the great work carried out by the LMC in meriting the 2nd place as the cleanest city in India and for the radical changes brought about in this regard.
