We the community of SHTC Nashik were glad to celebrate the 73rd Republic day of India. The community of Maria Vihar along with the hostel girls and boarders joined us for the function. The chief guest for the day was Sr. Salome D’Souza, the Novice Formator. To honour our country we conducted the flag hoisting ceremony at 8.00 am. Every word in the Preamble of the Constitutions holds us together; its realization makes us responsible citizens of our country. We as proud citizens recited the Preamble of the Indian constitution. Later a short spectacular programme was put up by the novices consisting of Patriotic song, a dance and speeches in three languages. The programme concluded with the message of the chief guest which enthused our hearts with love for our country and inspired us to become proud of our Country.
We are proud to be Indians! As our Constitutions declares India as a Sovereign, Socialists, Secular and Democratic Republic. Jai Hind!
