On 31 January 2022, Maria Kripa Madanthyar community celebrated the feast of our Father and Founder St. Don Bosco. The hostel girls of Maria Kripa put up a short cultural programme on the previous day. Sr. Jaya Rodrigues the warden of the hostel girls prepared them for the small drama on the style of Don Bosco. The girls sang a song on ‘We call Don Bosco a gentle name’ and danced on the staged a dance on the song ‘we are children of Don Bosco’.The girls were delighted to put the programme. Sr. Prema Tauro,the animator of the community appreciated their programme and gave a message of Don Bosco’s Preventive System and his moto “Give me souls and take away the rest”. With distribution of the sweets we ended the programme.
In the evening we had a solemn Eucharist where we invited the neighbouring religious community and the Parish Fathers and the Salesian co-operators. The main celebrant for the Mass was Fr. Richard, a Carmelite Father. After the festival mass we offered them a fellowship meal prepared by the community sisters. The Salesian Co-operators were happy to give their service during this feast day celebration of Don Bosco. Thus all enjoyed the programme of Don Bosco.
