AMAR # 1599 Gratitude Day Celebration at Pansora

“A real gift of gratitude is that the more grateful you are, the more present you become”. On 26th February, Auxilium Primary school, Pansora celebrated Gratitude Day. The Students and staff expressed their gratitude to the Sisters and the Institution through a prayer moment and various stage performances. The students escorted the Sisters to the programme venue and welcomed each of them with flowers and a token gift.

At the end of the programme, Sr. Nayana Vankar thanked everyone for their various expressions of love and appreciation. During her speech, she emphasized the importance of being thankful every day.  During the celebration, the school distributed groceries to five needy families from the contribution received from the students and staff.  On the following day, The Sisters and other groups of our mission celebrated Gratitude day. The prayer moments of the day had a special tone of thanksgiving and praise for the gift of one another in the community and mission. Fr. Antony Raj the Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Umreth celebrated the thanksgiving Eucharist. In the afternoon the boarders, VEP teachers, the children from Pansora Village, the social Workers and the Sisters gathered at the school campus for the thanksgiving cultural program.  Each of the groups performed on the stage and made the celebration joyful.  We provided food kits to 15 needy families. Thanks to the various sectors who together contributed.   Sr. Nayana Vankar expressed her sentiments of thanks to all present on behalf of Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralaya.
