Auxilium Convent Pali Hill celebrated International Women’s day on 8th March 2022. The theme of the day was ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’ A special programme for the cause of menstrual hygiene was organized by Rotary club of Queen’s Necklace Bombay. Sr. Shiny Alphonse welcomed the President and associates of Rotary Club Queen’s Necklace. The students performed a cultural dance and street play on women empowerment. A speech in Marathi and Hindi on girl child was delivered. Tr. Yolanda briefed in short about the achievements of the school.
Sr Aruna Castellino spoke about her dream project to reach out to the women. Mahajan president of Rotary club Queen’s Necklace spoke to the students on women empowerment. Rotary club Queen’s Necklace distributed environment friendly sanitary napkins. Teacher Namita thanked the team members of Rotary Club Queen’s Necklace for their generosity.
