Laura Vicuna Salesian cooperators Unit, of Ahmednagar, conducted the Way of the Cross from Vilad Ghat to Don Bosco Church on April 8, 2022.
The participants prayed for the various intentions appropriate for the Lenten season. They started walking in the scorching heat of 12:30 pm and reached Don Bosco parish at 3.30 pm. The reason for choosing this time was that the members and the parishioners wanted to experience the sufferings of Jesus.
The keynote of the day was that the people of other faith who were standing on the road took part in the prayer. Many shopkeepers offered refreshments too.
All those who attended the way of the cross had an opportunity to avail of the celebration of the Holy Mass which was celebrated by the Parish Priest Fr. Richard Desilva.
