On 13 June 2022, we had an orientation programme for our staff. Mrs Karen D’Souza was the resource person who spoke about how the teachers need to change the approach towards teaching methods and strategies after the Pandemic experience. She also motivated the teachers to draw up an action plan for the year and try to achieve the objectives that are planned.
On 15 June, we welcomed our students joyfully after the long summer vocations. We had an inaugural prayer service, invoking God’s blessings on the academic year 2022-23. Our Headmistress, Sr.Shiny Alphonse gave a warm welcome to the newly appointed teachers and students.
On 17 June, teachers, workers and students celebrated the birthday of our Manager, Sr.Terese Vettical with their best wishes, cakes and gifts.
On 21 June, Yoga Day was kept up in our school. Our students spoke about the significance of Yoga and performed various Asanas to mark this event.
On 22nd and 23rd June, an orientation programme was organized for the parents of the students of std 1 to 10. Mrs. Alisha Lalji – Psychologist doctor and Counsellor gave them a thought- provoking seminar regarding their role as parents and how they need to create friendly rapport with their children. Mrs Elisha also made them aware about their child’s safety in their own family circle.
On 29 June, drawing competitions were held for the students of std 1 to 10. Students took part enthusiastically and brought out the theme on “Environment” in a very creative manner.
On 30 June, we had talent search day for students. Students confidently showcased their God given talents in front of the class.
