On 23rd July 2022, Auxilium Baroda had a session for girls of XI and XII on “Preventive adolescent health care education for girls” conducted by the Baroda obstetrics and gynaecological society. The resource persons Dr. Sapna and Dr. Amita Shah renowned gynaecologist of Baroda dealt on the topics in detail such as ‘anaemia, obesity personal hygiene and nutrition.
They said that adolescence and teenage years are the most important age for shaping ideas and attitudes that will go a long way in creating a healthy, happy and confident adult woman. They also discussed challenges faced by the girls and the students put forth their queries and cleared their doubts. The doctors gave them proper guidance and they benefitted from the session. At the end the students expressed words of appreciation and thanks.
