RIPPLES OF LOVE – Teachers’ Day
“A good teacher is like a candle that consumes itself to light a way for the others.”
On 5th September,2022, the Children of Auxilium Niwas – Shirva celebrated “Teachers’ day”. It was a special and remarkable one. It’s true that “not everyone has the patience of a saint, a heart of gold, and dedication without end – but we do! Which is why they wanted to let us know how much we are appreciated.” During our prayer moments we remembered and prayed for all the teachers both past and present and thanked God for our teachers who created ripples in our lives. Children presented a beautiful programme for the sisters which consisted of songs, dances, games and also distribution of prizes. They were indeed grateful for what the sisters do for each one of them so that they may learn good values and become good and honest citizens of India. It was a joyous and grateful day to see the children coming up with their beautiful talents. A quote written by the children for the Sisters was liked by all…. It goes “You dear Sisters, take our hand, open our mind and touch our hearts daily. Thank you for making us, what we are today. You made a wonderful difference in our lives!”
