AMAR # 1909 Celebration of the Independence Day at Auxilium – Pali Hill

On 15th August 2023, Auxilium Convent High School celebrated the 76th Independence Day of our country India. The programme started at 8 a.m with the welcome procession by students and the headmistress of the school. Students of standard 8, 9, and 10 danced and played the lezium as they welcomed the Chief Guest to the grounds where the other students, teachers, ex-students, and parents were waiting.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the Indian national flag by the Chief Guest of the day, Mr. Asif Bhamla, the founder of Bhamla Foundation, followed by the rendition of the national anthem, which filled the air with a sense of unity and pride. The flag hoisting was followed by a celebration in the school hall. A welcome dance for the celebrations was performed by Rudra.  The students of Std 8 blessed the celebration with a prayer service, which was followed by Huzaifa of Std 8 and Janvi of Std 7 who kicked off the celebration with a speech, it was followed by an action song sung by students of Std 5 and 6. But the celebrations could not end without a dance. A touching dance was prepared by students of Std 9, which instilled a sense of national pride in everyone present. The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of freedom, unity, and the responsibilities of being citizens of an independent nation. To end the programme a vote of thanks was presented. As the students left the campus that day, they left with the purpose of upholding the integrity of our nation.
