In honour of our Blessed Mother, We the sisters and teachers of the Laura Vicuna Niwas, Ahmednagar, organized a Marian Nite, for all the Catholic children and youngsters of our school on 14th September 2023 at 5.30 pm, There were around 80 participants, who made a solemn entry to the hall with the Penguin Dance. The Marian Nite began with a graceful prayer dance, by our hostel girls. Sr. Rita our animator gave them a warm welcome and declared the Marian Nite 2023 opened.
The children, youngsters, fathers, and sisters were divided into 8 groups, with 15 members. The titles of our Blessed Mother were given to each group and urged them to prepare the charts and badges of their given titles. The two Salesian priests too joined us in the Marian nite along with their two youngsters.
It was a great joy to see the children and youngsters participating in the different games, quizzes, and Marian advertisements. The mysteries too were depicted very meaningfully and creatively. Lastly, we had a surprise game for the priests and sisters. The Marian Nite concluded with the distribution of the prizes and dinner.
We pray to our Blessed Mother Mary that through her intercession, all our students may grow in virtue and wisdom, holding on to the conviction that God has plans for them, plans for their goodness and well-being. We thank Sr. Betty and the Catholic teachers for organizing the Marian nite so well. May they experience the love of Mother Mary in their life and in their families.
