Auxilium Nandgad celebrated its school annual day on the 21st of December 2023 at 4.00 p.m. with the theme, ‘Celebrate Culture, Preserve Nature’. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Mahesh Jadhav the founder of Mahesh Foundation, Belagavi. The other guests included Fr. Anthony Souz the Asst. Parish Priest I. C. Church Nandgad, Mr. Yallappa Guarv Panchayat President Nandgad, Mr. M. D. Bagawan the CRP Nandgad, Ms. Taherine Handur and her Parents the SSLC topper.
It was a joint effort of all the sisters, teachers, and students who gave their best to make this annual day a grand success. The students through their creative songs, dances, mime shows and skits made the parents of Nandgad understand the value of nature and the need to live in unity and harmony among the people of different religions. About 1000 and more parents attended the school function. The parents greatly appreciated the best effort and the wonderful show staged for them. It was indeed a feast for the eyes to see all the 490 students performing on the stage.
The Chief Guest Mr. Mahesh Jadhav who runs an NGO for the HIV Aids children and has a school of his own appreciated the way our students performed even in this remote village with great discipline. He appreciated the kind of education provided here and advised the parents not to over-pet their children and spoil them but rather appreciate their ability and encourage them to do their best.
We express our gratitude towards all those who contributed towards the success of this event and hope that the message of the annual day becomes a lived reality in the lives of the people of Nandgad.
