Christmas Dhamaka
We the Anmol Parivar had our Christmas celebration on 23rd December with our Outreach Children of Wadala, Sewri and Rabale. Around 200 children were gathered at MYC basement for the celebration. Teacher Meera began with a small prayer moment invoking the mercy and the joy of a new born baby Jesus. The children presented the message of Christmas through dances, singing carols in Hindi and in Marathi. Through a skit the children beautifully depicted the scenes of Bethlehem.
Mr. Ajay and his brother along with Srs. Moksha and Magdeline were the Chief guests for the evening programme. The children presented a bouquet of flowers as a token of their love and gratitude for all the help they render towards this Anmol outreach activity. The Chief Guest gave a Christmas message saying like the Baby Jesus who was faithful and obedient to his parents, we too must learn to study well and become someone great like Jesus in this world. Let us be faithful to our God and be obedient towards our parents.
At the end we had small game i.e. passing on the Santa cap to our neighbour by wishing each other Christmas wishes of Peace, Joy and Happiness. Sr. Magdeline too gave a short message focusing on the day’s event. The children enjoyed a lot and at the end we distributed snacks, drinks and gave a Christmas gift. Lastly we had Christmas dance with the children with they enjoyed to the full. Thus we ended our Christmas Dhamaka with deep joy in our heart and thanked everyone for all that they are and wished each one a new beginning in the coming year 2018.

New Year Celebration
Anmol girls along with Sr. Jaya Rodrigues had Christmas celebration with our Koparkhairane Outreach children. Sr. Magdeline welcomed each and every children. 35 boys and girls were present for the celebration. Girls animated musical chair and some Christmas games such as Bombing the Christmas symbols. The children were so happy and thrilled with the games that they even came up with few shakes on the Christmas carols. After an hour’s programme the children went away happily taking along with them Christmas message of Love and Joy. Ended our morn with snacks, drink and take away Christmas gift.
In the evening the Srs. and the girls were divided into groups and we had Christmas Carol competition and revealing of Christmas friend. It was joy, the Anmol girls along with Srs. had great joy in adoring our new born babe in this New Year singing and dancing the Christmas Carols. The girls were waiting for the Christmas friend to be revealed. At the end we danced to the beats of some songs and Sr. Maggie concluded the day with Pope Francis’ message. Thus the first day of the New Year began well and it all began with Mary and ended by singing for Her Son Jesus praises.
