From the 22 of January onwards the women from different villages and urban areas celebrated and perform their Haldi Kumkum programme with much love and enthusiastically prayed and fasted for their husbands, asking God to grant them a long and healthy life. It was indeed interesting and thought provoking to see their love and fidelity towards their spouses. The women seemed to be very happy.
We on our part encouraged and supported them with our presence. During the programme, we gave them an important session on IGP and on how they needed to be good and courageous women in their own homes and villages.
