On February 17, 2018, the Catechetical / Value Education day was celebrated in Auxilium Ahmednagar for students of Std. I to Std.VIII . And ‘Day with God’ was animated for students of Std. IX. The pupils of Don Bosco English and Marathi medium sections of Std. IX were invited for the same. For the Value Education day, the assembly was creatively animated by all the religion students and sisters. The teachers animated sessions in their respective classrooms as they transmitted the message through video clippings, stories, value- based games and quizzes.

Sr. Teresa Plathara, the animator welcomed the students of Std. IX of both the schools as they began their day with God. A session on values and the importance of a virtuous life was conducted by Fr. Vishal Lopes, SDB. A movie named “Evans Almighty” was screened which conveyed the message of changing the world through acts of random kindness to all around us. During the evaluation of the movie, the students came up with apt answers doing justice to the film watched. The praise and worship session was then animated by the Vincentian Fathers who led them into prayer through music and devotional hymns, conveying the message that God is the most important part of a person’s life.

The day with God concluded by each of them receiving blessings from father who assured them of his prayers and wished them all the best in all their undertakings.
