We, the sisters and boarders of Jag Prakash Kanya Chatralay, Pansora were happy to celebrate the Annual Day of our boarding on 18th February 2018 in our own campus. We began our celebration at 1:00 p.m with the theme ‘Love is the foundation of the family’. The children were very excited for this great day and so they prepared the programme for their parents with much love.
The programme began with the prayer dance invoking God’s presence this was followed by the lighting of the lamp and a floral tribute. The chief guest of the programme was Mr.Shailesh Macwan from Nadiad who joined us along with his family. The children put up skits, dances, jokes and songs based on a family. The annual report was read out by Mrs. Harsha, the gruhmata of the boarders. Our animator Sr. Nayana Vankar gave a meaningful message to the parents and told them to allow the girls to study and make their future bright.
It was indeed a great day to have the parents of our children and they were filled with joy seeing their daughters perform so well on the stage. The prize for the best girl of the boarding for the last year and for the present year was bagged by Ms.Ankita Gupta and Ms.Kinjal Rohit respectively. All the four houses too were rewarded based on the activities of the entire year. At the end of the programe the parents were distributed snacks and one could easily notice the joy and contentment on the faces of the parents to see the confidence of their daughters.

Congrats Sisters of Pansora! The parents of the girls must have been full of joy and pride to see their daughters come up so well…not only for studies but also in song, dance and acting…wonderful work for the education and enhancement of village girls of Gujarat. The message of healthy family life also went across to them. God bless you all!
