AMAR # 386 NANDGAD CELEBRATES COMMUNITY GRATITUDE DAY

Gratitude! It unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into sufficient and more, it turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, a house into a home and a stranger into a friend. How beautiful and fulfilling a community becomes, when relationships are linked with love, respect, forgiveness and gratitude. It is then that we are able to cultivate the art of listening and of accompaniment as Samaritan woman experienced after the encounter with the LORD.

Keeping these sentiments in our mind and heart we celebrated our Community Gratitude Day on 24^th of February. We prepared for it for a week. The celebration began with the meaningful vigil service animated by Sr. Shanti Fernandes and for the morning prayer an inspiring powerpoint presentation  was prepared by Sr. Smitha Monis. This was followed by Mass which animated by Sr. Reshma Rosario.

Fr. Vijay Mendit and Fr.Calistus Miranda our parish community priests celebrated thanksgiving Eucharist celebration for us. While we thanked each one’s contribution for the betterment of the community and for the mission, we shared a meal together. Sr. Antonette Horta animated the adoration as well as the creative prayers to the visit to the Blessed Sacrament.

A happy community is a loving community.
