Teachers’ Training
On 23rd and 24thFebruary 2018, an interesting training on Mathematics was organized for the project teachers and the evening class teachers.
The programme began at 10.30 a.m. The resource person taught them the basics and difficult Maths in a creative and in an easy way. The teachers were very happy and grateful for receiving this knowledge. The teachers resolved that they would make the best use of it in their lessons and enable the students to love their subject. The training concluded on 24th February.
Thanks to the community of Laura Vicuna Niwas for providing the place and to the Crompton Greeves for providing the resource person.
Picnic for the NCP and Tuition children
On 25th February we had a picnic for our NCP and tuition class children from the five villages. They were nearly 120 students. We visited the Devdari Resort and had a good time. It was a joy to see the children enjoying themselves to the full.
The owner of the hotel generously offered a concession as well as a pack of biscuits to each of the students.
