We conducted the Summer Club from 2 to 11 April for the students of Std. V to VII. This camp was conducted for the Sacred Heart Kannada Medium School and for the neighbouring children of the parish.
The theme for the camp was “Play, jump and enjoy the club.” We began with a short prayer moment. After which Sr. Mary Lobo gave a short introduction and few instructions about the summer club and its importance. We divided them into groups. They chose a leader and drew a symbol each for their group on a chart, composed a song according to it and presented creatively.
Every day we had different activities like a table piece, wall hangings, flower and card making, best out of waste, action songs, games etc.
Last day we concluded with a short thanksgiving, prize distribution for the winners and also snacks were distributed. All the children went home with happy memories.
