Sr. Sunita Motheghar, the Youth Pastoral local co-ordinator of our community transmitted the YPP 2018-2019 to the Candidates and the community. The programmed commenced by a short prayer moment animated by Sr. Assumption Gonsalves followed by the first session based on the Strenna given by the Rector Major, “ Sir give me this Water” and was conducted by Sr. Cecilia Crasta. She highlighted the types of thirst and some tips to fulfill them. The second session based on the theme “Beat plastic pollution” was conducted by Sr. Sunita Motheghar. She weighed the harmful effects of plastic, especially the impact it has on the water bodies and the life dwelling in it through video clippings. At the end of the programmed, each of us and the community decided the following practices.
- Each one took one concrete step to satiate once thirst for God, knowledge, values, and service.
- To completely stop the use of plastic.
- If at all anyone uses them, we will see that they are not disposed of into garbage, instead will be collected and be given for recycling.
- Milk bags will be washed and be given for recycling.
