On 29th June 2018, the School council was formally invested during an impressive ceremony in the school basement hall. The Manager, Sr. Josephine Fernandes and Headmistress, Sr. Sheela Furtado led the students in solemn procession “Lead to Serve” was to the motto of the day. The school leader, assistant school leader, captains art, sports and green line captains were accompanied by their parents.
The prefects and monitresses followed in the procession. An all-religion prayer service invoked God’s blessings on everyone. The student council then took a solemn posture, asking the headmistress, St. Sheela to invest them with their authority. The school leader, Asst. Leader and house captains looked impressive with their flags. Their scarves and badges were formally handed to them. The prefects of secondary and primary sections were all inducted officially. The student representatives then took their pledge. The manager, Sr. Josephine addressed the newly recruited student leaders with words of advice and encouragement. The headmistress, Sr. Sheela also spoke a few words of encouragement. The school leader then proposed the vote of thanks.
After the solemn function, the director of I-Qube Mr. Oswal was introduced to the school. He addressed the students and encouraged them to avail of this exam. The results of last year’s I-Qube review were announced, and prizes both cash and certificates were awarded to students who had excelled. A student of Std. VI had scored exceptionally well, ranking par – India first for her level. The school is indeed proud of miss Komal of Std VI.
