A religious vocation is a beautiful gift from God. Keeping this in mind 16 Sisters from the different communities participated in the Vocation Facilitators Meet in Mazzarello Kendra, Kasarkod on 14 and 15 July 2018.
Sr. Rita Fernandes, the animator of the community, began the day with a prayer invoking God’s help. Later she warmly welcomed the Sisters.
Fr. Richard Rodrigues, the parish priest of the Parish of Kasarkod, was the principal speaker of the day. He spoke on ‘Facilitating Vocation, and it’s challenging in a modern world.” We discussed the different initiatives which we will take up. We also talked about the various challenges.
This meeting helped us to work with more zeal to help young people discern their vocation.
