St. Mary Mazzarello- a woman for all time God has raised up for our world

a woman for all time in the person of Mother- St. Mary Mazzarello.
Indeed she is a woman for all time. Simplicity of life and charity towards all is what made her great in the eyes of God and people. Her profound union with her Divine Spouse and the zeal and enthusiasm with which she lived her life has enabled her to reach to the heights of sanctity. On 16th July, Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala was indeed proud to celebrate the feast of Mother Mazzarello- a woman for all time and all ages. There was music, fun, and laughter all around as students honoured her through songs, dance and a skit. The Primary students enacted few incidents from Mary Mazzarello’s early life. And the Secondary students staged one of the letters of Mary Mazzarello. It urged today’s young people to embrace the future with hope, to have a genuine thirst for God in their lives, to stand up for the right values, to seek real knowledge and like the Salesian Sisters to reach out in service to others.
The Transport committee which is comprised of our parents were present for the programme. They congratulated and felicitated the Sisters with flowers and an appreciation certificate for the hundred percent results secured at the SSC examinations. All the teachers and support staff were felicitated with a rose, pen and a sweet. After a grand photo session ceremony, snacks were served for all. Later on as a finale in the fourth period, all the students joined in for a chart competition on various themes, as they portrayed Mother Mazzarellos thoughts in drawing. May St. Mary Mazzarello continue to guide us and help us to achieve all that we desire to do and to become through our ordinary deeds.
